1. Service Description

GrassrootsPay provides an online payment platform designed specifically for UK grassroots sports clubs and organizations. Our service includes:

• Payment collection and processing
• Subscription management
• Automated payment reminders
• Financial reporting and analytics
• Integration with club management tools

2. Eligibility

To use GrassrootsPay, you must:

• Be authorized to manage payments on behalf of a UK-registered sports club or organization
• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Have the authority to bind your organization to these Terms

3. Account Registration

When you create an account:

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Fees and Payment

4.1 Platform Fees

Our current pricing is available on our Pricing page. Fees are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

4.2 Transaction Fees

Payment processing fees (charged by Stripe) are detailed in your subscription plan. These are separate from our platform fees.

4.3 Billing

• Subscription fees are charged monthly or annually (depending on your plan)
• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Transmit any malicious code or viruses
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the service to process payments for prohibited activities
• Interfere with or disrupt the service

6. Payment Processing

Payment processing is provided by Stripe. By using GrassrootsPay, you also agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.

We are not liable for any issues arising from Stripe's payment processing services.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of GrassrootsPay is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of GrassrootsPay are owned by GrassrootsPay Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• GrassrootsPay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim
• We are not responsible for losses due to payment processor failures or bank errors

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You breach these Terms
• You fail to pay fees when due
• We are required to do so by law
• We cease operations (with 60 days' notice)

11. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
